Polyester is satirical comedy by John Waters starring Divine as Francine Fishpaw, a Baltimore housewife whose life unravels amidst her husband's infidelity, her children's delinquency, and her own alcoholism, until she finds love with a handsome art-house theater owner (Tab Hunter).
